New Problem: Script Problems

Hello, first off, apologies if this is in the wrong forum, please feel free to move it to the appropriate one.
I'm am new to Pokemon Scripting and have a persistent problem when creating a script in AdvanceMap (as opposed to a signpost, character, warp etc etc), I have a standard message script, with lock and release in it, but whenever I step on the tile it just pauses, the music still goes, but I cant do anything

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you
