[Super Event] The Super Battle/Fun Event! (Feedback Thread)
Hi all! Thanks for participating in the event!
I had a lot of fun hosting and it was really nice seeing everyone come out for Tournaments and Trivia. The Battle Server Staff already have some ideas on how to improve for next time, but we also want to hear your thoughts.
What did you think of the Live Events? The Face-Off? The Make-a-Mega Event? Were there Events you wished we had instead?
Obviously I can't list every single possible question, but please post your thoughts. The team will take your feedback back to the lab and try to make changes so the next Event can be better!

Does anyone want to help me make a rom hack, I can do the maps and encounter tables but that's about it need help with:

map connections and warps

sprites
story (I have most of it down, can tell you for inspiration.)
trade and gift NPC's
Cut scenes

new mechanics (megas and z moves)
Please I really want to do this.

[Error] pbOnStartUse error
Hi Guys
First of all, I just discovered Pokemon essentials and LOVE having the opportunity to make my own pokemon game, thank you everyone for developing and maintaining such a cool system!
I ran into a strange error while editing some of the script to implement psychic terrain. I was jumping around to insert all the effects, and testing now and again, when I started getting the below error on startup:
Script 'PokeBattle_Clauses' line 161:NameError occurred.
undefined method 'pbOnStartUse' for class 'PokeBattle_Move_0E0'
When I check out the script line, it seems to be the script for Seldestruct. No idea why that started acting up as I didn't edit it at all, unless I did something by mistake?
Anyone have any ideas? Maybe compare the lines of text in your version with the version I have (screenshots attahed) to see what the difference is.
My only guess is I added the move "Psychic Terrain" right under Grassy Terrain and the move ID (159) may have affected it somehow?

question: do you care about the aesthetics of your console?
I ask because whenever a new console gets released, it takes about a while before some sort of "special/limited edition" decorative console is released, and I often question whether or not it would've been a better decision to wait, haha.
do any of you care about these special/limited edition consoles? do you go out of your way to get them, or are you fine with regular-looking consoles?

[Other] Pokemon DS ROM Hacking (Newbie)
Hi Everyone
I have recently got into ROM Hacking (total Rookie learning off Youtube and this Forum!)
I have had a lot of fun playing with editting Wild Pokemon Levels and Trainer Pokemon Levels and to make it a bit more challenging in Pokemon Platinum.
However the two main things I want to try and learn how to do are:
1). Change the levels of Legendary Pokemon in encounters
I cannot for the life of me find out how to change these, I have only managed to do Wild Pokemon so far.
Basically I want to change a few levels in Platinum and slightly change their movepools:
(eg. Regigigas to Lvl 70, The Regis to Lvl 40 atleast, Arceus to Lvl 100, Giratina to Lvl 50, Heatran to Lvl 70)
This is to go with the increased level challenges I am giving myself (along with changing the Pkmn Evolutions to not require trading which I have already done successfully)
2). Make Version Exclusive Pokemon Appear in the Alternative Version in the Post-Game
I have just finished playing through Black & White, and I was wondering if it is possible to make the version alternate Dragon (Zekrom in Black, Reshiram in White) appear in Dragon Spiral Tower in the Post-Game?
I would set it to be captured at Lvl 70 so there is the option of catching both of the Yin & Yang Dragons. (I would do this in B2W2 as well at a later date when I finally play through that)
This I imagine will be quite advanced, as I havent got that far into Map Editting etc.
Would anyone be able to give me any tips in approaching these two ideas if possible please?
Number 1 I have a funny feeling im missing something incredibly obvious....
Number 2 should be a longer term project I will do over the coming weekends - But I am just looking for some guidance to see if it is possible and the best tools / tutorials to look at to achieve this :)

Season Headers in primal-dialga DNS
Can anyone help me add Season Headers to @primal-dialga's DNS? In the Tools tab there's a season header editor, but I'm not too sure how it works. There are 4 boxes (see attachment) with values; are the values the text string in hex or a pointer to the strings or something? And how would I make these show up in game? Thanks!

My current project is a story I discovered in my early 20s. At the time, I was very ignorant and dumb about disabilities when I wrote it before. So, I'm trying to redo the story and make it better. It's about the lives of two twin boys. They grow up and learn a lot of things etc. Yeah, I'm still trying to remember my details from way back when I was 20ish tbh. ;w; I feel really proud of this story too!
